If you're the type who doesn't want to spend much in going out, then El Niño Cold Spring is pefect for you.

 

El Niño is simply a swimming pool with cold fresh water and nothing else - no cottages, no waiting sheds, just a pool. The pool is hidden and is well-surrounded by trees. A caretaker, who lives in a house nearby, watches out for the pool.

 

The caretaker charges a ten-peso fee for pool use.

 

How to get to El Nino Cold Spring

 

El Niño Cold Spring is located in Matina Pangi, Davao City. Along McArthut Highway, wherein there is an intersection covered by a passenger overpass, lies the main road to Matina Pangi. You can ask motorcycle drivers to take you to El Niño.

 

While driving through the Pangi road, the driver will drop you off near a bridge and point you to the direction of the place.
