Off the coast of Samal lies two islets dubbed as Little Ligid and Big Ligid. 

While the islets themselves are attractive and good for picture taking, it is the surrounding water that attracts tourists. The seawater surrounding at these parts of Samal Island are popular dive spots.

HOW TO GET THERE

Samal is accessible by seatrip from Sasa, Davao City. Upon arriving in the island, motorcycle transport to the resort is readily available. Simply tell the driver that you want to see Ligid Island.

Some locals will offer boat rides to the islets. However, this involves price haggling.
