Kookoo's Nest Resort, this neat litttle hideaway resort is located on the south coast of Dumaguete, Negros Oriental. Named for the local kookoo birds, this resort is built on a narrow beach carved out of the cliffs of the Antulan Peninsula. It is owned and managed by English couple Jamie and Nikki Ingram since 2001.
Kookoo's Nest Resort offers recreation and relaxation on a white sand beach with stunning sunset and delectable food. It has bamboo cottages intended to give a light and airy ambiance perfect for a tropical climate. The in-house restaurant of the resort, offers a variety of exquisite Western cuisine. Nikki, who was a professional caterer for touring rock bands in Europe, uses locally available foods which she hand-picked at the nearby market and then cooked them to Western tastes.
How to get to Kookoos Nest Resort
The resort is past Malatapay and Zamboangita on 10 kilometer road to an isolated cove around the corner from Tombobo Bay.
