Lon Wa Buddhist Temple - Davao del Sur Attractions

Lon Wa Buddhist Temple

The Lon Wa Buddhist Temple is the biggest Buddhist temple in Mindanao. The temple boasts intricate architectural designs surrounded with trees and carp-filled lily ponds. A statue of Buddha stands inside the temple along with wooden carvings depicting his life.

Since the temple is a place of worship, the ambience is calm and is a good escape from the noisy city life.

HOW TO GET THERE

The Lon Wa Buddhist Temple is located in R. Cabaguio Avenue. Cabaguio can be reached by taking the road to Agdao.
